REMOVESHARINGNE

Qualifiers:

<NETWORK ELEMENT NAME>

Purpose:

Removes the specified non-local element from its Data Sharing Community.

Details:

This command is for removing an inaccessible element (i.e., one that you cannot log on to) from the data-sharing community until it can be replaced. Removal is recommended to stop the generation of distribution errors to the element.

You only need to run the command from one node in the sharing community. SDS will distribute the change to the other elements.

If the element is accessible, log on to it and turn System Data Synchronization off in the System Options form. See SDS - Removing a Data-Sharing Element for more information.

To bring the element back into the sharing community:

  1. Turn SDS off and on again in that element's Network Elements form.

  2. Start sharing from a node in the sharing community.

  3. Perform a full sync.
